Freebie Friday

Freebie Friday

Welcome back to Freebie Friday! I have been trying to get ahead on blog posts, but it never seems possible with household chores, kids, and having to go through boxes from moving on top of all of that. One day I will be able to schedule posts way far in advance, for now, I do it when I am able. On a positive note, I have been trying to read more and now hit 60 books of 100 read for my Goodreads challenge this year! I am unsure I will make it to 100, but I sure will try. I already read more than last year. The books I beta read, proofread, or edit technically do not count so there are really more than 60 if I counted those. Anyways…let us move on to the best part of today…this post! Really the free book is the best part, but the post tells you about it so they are equally good in my opinion.

Ebooks, aside from being cheap or free have some other advantages, find some pros and cons here. Today I hope to bring you a novel that you might take a chance on. These books will be free at the time of my post, but because I am unable to see the future, I cannot promise these will stay that way. So, if you like them purchase them as soon as you can.

Mara is dirt— worse, actually. She’s a dreg.

Nineteen-year-old Mara has spent her whole life wondering why the old Magi refused to awaken her Gift. With no magical ability to call her own, Mara faces a life of persecution with no value, no power and no purpose.
When a charming new Magi arrives in her village of Stonehollow, Mara expects more of the same. Instead, she’s thrust into a dangerous tangle of secrets and lies that will shatter everything she thought she knew.

Now, Mara must flee the Order— a powerful organization of Magi who will do anything to capture her before she can expose the truth.

What do you think? I thought this was interesting and I couldn’t believe I have not heard about it until now! It is hard to be self published when new, highly anticipated releases take over the book realm. I want to help other find these great authors!

And this book has only 2 Goodreads reviews…what! Take this chance and help a new author out! Give this new novel a chance and let us know what you think. I know that I will be reading it, I downloaded it and it is now in the huge TBR pile I have.
