Hello everyone, my name is Cassandra. I have been reading books as if they were the air I breathe since I was a young girl. I was often scolded for reading at inopportune times such as in class, when I should have been doing chores, etc. When I graduated high school, many people wrote in my yearbook that they will always remember me as the girl who always carried at least one book. I mean…I was always prepared. I read any time I had a spare five minutes.
I am a 32-year-old wife and mom of three wonderful boys. I have two Bachelors degrees. My first degree was in Criminal Justice with a minor in both Forensic Science and Sociology. The second one is a double major in Biology and Sociology with a minor in Chemistry. I loved going to school, not because of the task of it or the homework…though I loved researching and writing essays. I enjoyed school because I always learned new things.
My life is so much more than that though! I am a Reiki Master, Shamanic Reiki Practitioner, Crystal Lover, Tarot/Oracle Reader, Small Business Owner…the list goes on.
With books, I gain new experiences and knowledge as I do what I love. I started this book blog to have an outlet for my opinions about books and other bookish things that I come across in my life. Books have always been my safe haven, more than mere words on a page. With my love of reading and vast experience in writing many academic papers, I have grown into beta reading, reviewing, proofreading, and recently began editing books. I love being a part of the process of taking an author’s idea and making it into something tangible everyone can enjoy. I hope that you can all find something you like here.
