Blog Tour: Truth in Blue – Mirai Amell

Happy Everyone!! I am here with another review and this book was absolutely my style! I was so excited to be a part of this tour! I had actually looked at this book before the tour began and was really interested in it.

Fantasy novels are my favorite but I find it is difficult for people to sometimes create a story and world that pulls you in bur this author had no issues!! Let’s take a look at the book shall we?

Sometimes life is better as a lie.

Malakai wanted to protect his kingdom from threats beyond its borders. Instead, stripped of his magic and on the run, he now needs to save it from his brother, the king himself.

Amaryllis wanted to have nothing to do with humans. Instead, stranded in the wrong realm, she now needs to retrieve a lost fae relic with powers no one comprehends.

Una wanted to be a knight in shining armor. Instead, haunted by the memories of a life she never lived, Una now needs to find answers from someone she doesn’t remember meeting.

When their paths cross, each must decide what matters to them the most.

Or risk losing everything they hold dear.

In a world where Angels and Shades battle for souls while the Devil sips his tea, the fate of one country, two races, and four realms hangs in the balance when love and loyalties are tested to their limits.

First, I want to talk about the cover because we all know that a good cover is what first grabs your interest. This cover is simplistic, devoid of flashy characters or animals etc. I think the contrast of the blue flowers and the simplicity is really what draws my attention!

When I began reading, this story was everything I wanted! It was fast paced with wonderful world building! It transports you from your mundane world to someplace new where you come to feel connected to the characters.I think Malakai was my favorite character…no not from children of the corn πŸ˜›

A book filled with magic, romance, betrayal…what more could you want? I will tell you what is better…a very well written one! The author articulates the story very well and is easy to follow along the tantalizing tale.

I think my favorite part was the inclusion of chakras, I am a Reiki master after all! Mirai incorporated so many things and skillfully too! There is mythology weaved through the pages of this story. This is an amazing book that I recommend to anyone who enjoys a good fantasy book or getting lost in the pages of a story to escape reality.
