It has been so long since I even posted on my blog. You may see that the page looks different now…different but better! I have had a lot of things happening behind the scenes here and I felt it was time to bring the blog back. This page may have been silent but I have been very active on Tiktok. I’ve grown a following and found my community among the indie authors are readers. 
I have been so involved in the indie community that I even created an entire virtual event I host three times a year! Only Indie is a month-long event that happens three times a year; January, May, and September. The goal is to encourage people to read as mainly indie books for that entire month. I actually read mostly indie books all the time though…shhh Indies do it better just saying. Anyway, during this event, I do weekly interviews with indie authors, we give away books, I even create a BINGO where you can potentially win prizes! I am a one woman show but I do my best and I hope to one day grow this event into something incredible that I can also host in person. That being said, there is more that I have been up to.
I have been helping authors behind the scenes in a wide variety of ways; Alpha reading, Beta reading, ARC reading, and reviewing. I am also on a handful of street teams now, including one for Kensington! It’s OK, you can freak out…I may have been dancing when I read the email. But wait…there’s more! Apparently that was not enough work and on top of homeschooling my two youngest this coming school year, I wanted to do more. I am currently enrolled in an author PA course! That’s right, I am learning to become an author PA so that I can be that person behind the curtain handling the mundane tasks so authors can create amazing emotionally damaging books.
I wanted to just keep this short so I will end it here. I just want to say thank you to everyone who has continued to support me on this bookish adventure and I can not wait to be back here. See you all again soon!
