Witchy Wednesday: Mindful Beauty – Dr. Debbie Palmer

Witchy Wednesday: Mindful Beauty – Dr. Debbie Palmer

Happy mid-week everyone! Welcome back to Witchy Wednesday, the day of the week where I openly talk about anything witchy. I admit I love this day of the week, though it is no longer the only day of the week I discuss anything witch or Pagan related. This time it is not solely witch related! This book can be used by so many because of what it has to offer.

How about getting to why we are all really here?

With so much going on in the world, we are always looking for ways to improve ourselves…especially as the cold months approach.

Relax, Let Go, and Become Your Most Beautiful Self
Mindfulness is a simple change we can all make for better health–emotionally, physically, and spiritually. In Mindful Beauty, New York-based dermatologist Dr. Debbie Palmer unveils her secrets to helping her patients develop more mindfulness and, in the process, cultivate inner peace and outer radiance.
Today, more than ever, mindfulness–the act of being more present and focused in everything we do–is so important to our well-being. This book is a practical, hands-on guide to looking and feeling more beautiful in the modern-day world. It provides simple self-care tips and shows how to work with essential oils, crystals, chakras, nutrition, and more as you make positive changes in body, mind, and spirit. Mindful Beauty is the next, most important step on your journey to a more vibrant life.

That first sentence…yea I have a lot of trouble with that. There are so many ways that you can improve yourself and they are not all based on what you eat, though that is one. Mindful Beauty goes from outside the body and goes deep within the soul with ways to help you look and feel your best. Put in a well organized and easy to follow format, this will soon become a go-to reference book for me.

I love that Dr. Palmer incorporates not only nutrition but ancient wisdom from various practices such as yoga and meditation, breaking down meditation into different forms. The simplicity of each approach makes it so that anyone can pick up this book and jump right into becoming a better version of themselves. Save the money you’d normally spend on a holistic healer or dermatologist and pick up this book. Dr. Palmer makes becoming happier and healthier something accessible to many. We need more references such as this in the community.

Take that first step into taking care of your soul and body. From there, you’ll start to look and feel better…bringing you happiness and fulfillment into your life. Self-care is so important, Let Dr. Palmer show you a few ways you can really dive into that. I know I will be.
