Blog Tour: Found – P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast

I’m sure you can tell by the title of this post that I am a part of yet another blog tour hosted by Fantastic Flying Book Club! These are my absolute favorite posts. I have to thank them again because they are the most amazing tour group I’ve worked with. They also don’t charge authors for tours which are, let’s be honest, amazing!! I am so comfortable working with them and I think I will forever remain on the review team. They are by far the best review company I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

So…the book I am talking about today is one that I have been anticipating for a while now, ever since I reviewed the first book! Found by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast….I’ve been waiting to read this and I’ve tried to be patient. Check out my review of Loved and Forgotten.

Fog rolls into Tulsa, and with it comes Darkness. Zoey knows something is up, and that the something involves Neferet, but Neferet can’t possibly be freed, right?
Other Neferet and her companion, Lynette, arrive in Woodward Park to set this world’s Neferet free from her grotto prison, and discover there may be those who sympathize with their cause. Meanwhile, Other Kevin and Other Stark are hot on their trail, but how can the new friends travel to this world without invoking Old Magick and paying a costly, perhaps deadly, price?
In ‘FOUND’, the culmination of the House of Night Other World series, a surprisingly talented fledgling, an immortal, and the unlikeliest of allies will band together with Zoey and the Nerd Herd. Will they be powerful enough to defeat her old nemesis, or will two worlds be destroyed and claimed by Darkness? Find out in the thrilling conclusion to the House of Night Other World series!

I love this cover. Actually, I love the covers for all of the House of Night Books.

Kristin Cast

Review

First of all…I love all or these books for the most part. There might be parts I dislike but generally, I love the characters. Those are what really drive the story for me. The book starts off very slow but I think this was my favorite one from the entire other world series. As you read, there are little reminders of what has happened so no fear, you don’t need to reread the previous ones before this. Now…most alternate world novels can sometimes be confusing but this one was easy to follow. Though the worlds and characters mirrored one another, there were specific details that made it easy to differentiate. Some would think that the characters from both worlds would be the same but they aren’t. In fact, they sometimes have completely different personalities! I loved that aspect of this book.

As a pagan witch, I love that we see more of the old magick in these novels that before. It melted my little pagan heart. The plot was well done and it tied up many ends from previous novels. As I mentioned before, it was a slow start and I hate that but I knew that it would get better. I was already so close to the characters before this book so I was completely enveloped in their interactions. I could not put the book down and read it one on night! Which is usual for these books for em anyway. I fly through them because I love the characters and story so much.

I would recommend this to any House of Night fan. It really feels like my favorite one from this series.
