Freebie Friday

Freebie Friday

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have a fun weekend to look forward to. This past week I enjoyed a few warmer days and took the boys outside. we were able to walk the woods and enjoy the beauty that nature puts before us. It is too often that we are too caught up in the day to day that we forget to stop and smell the roses, so to speak. Open our eyes and forget about the person who messed up your order and be grateful we have right outside out front door. We are so lucky to have such beauty and power surrounding us but yet we forget to take the time to see it.

Ok..sorry about that rant. It was a beautiful week though, despite some rain. We have so many pumpkins and hope to make and can a lot of puree. My boys know what they want to be for Halloween. The oldest wants to be a Stormtrooper and his brother wants to be Marshall from Paw Patrol. I am not sure if I will dress up…I always thought about going as a tired mom; messy bun, coffee in hand, in a bathrobe.

In the Blue, the world’s last city, all is not well.
Julia is stuck within its walls. She serves the nobility from a distance until she meets Lucas, a boy who believes in fairytales that Julia’s world can’t accommodate. The Blue is her prison, not her castle, and she’d escape into the trees if she didn’t know that contamination and death awaited humanity outside.
But not everyone in the Blue is human, and not everyone can be contained.
Beyond the city’s boundaries, in the wild forests of the Red, Cameron has precious little humanity left to lose. As he searches for a lost queen, he finds an enemy rising that he thought long dead. An enemy that the humans have forgotten how to fight.
One way or another, the walls of the Blue are coming down. The only question is what side you’ll be on when they do.

I have to say that I have read this book…twice actually! Josie brings vampires to a level they should have always been at! They are far from Twilight and you will not regret this read! Find my review here. How can you not give a book that sounds so good a shot…especially when it is free?!?! You would be crazy to not be on amazon downloading it now!
