Magical Readathon: 2019 O.W.L.s TBR

Magical Readathon: 2019 O.W.L.s TBR

Welcome back, everyone! Today, I am talking about something very exciting…the Magical Readathon! I know many of you have already heard about this or even participated last year. I saw this last year but was not able to participate so I am very excited to get the chance this year. As many others are, I am a huge Harry Potter fan. When thinking of what house I belong in I ended up at a confusing problem. I actually have traits from both Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, well traits from all of them in reality but mostly these two. So…I dubbed myself a Ravenpuff because I fit better into Ravenclaw. So for all intents and purposes, I am a Ravenclaw. Anything Harry Potter related is fun but when you combine reading in it…ughhh I am so excited to be participating in this bloody amazing event. Before I get into telling you which career I’ve chosen and what my TBR is for my O.W.L.s, let’s learn all about what the Magical Readathon is.

As many of you know, Harry Potter has a huge fan base, yes some of them even call themselves “Potter Heads.” You see many people bonding over their Hogwarts House designations. Basically, everyone loves Harry Potter…well not everyone but more people than you know! Harry Potter has been a huge part of my life since the books landed in my lap in middle school. Anyway…this readathon was created by Book Roast last year. She never expected it to take off and be so popular but boy oh boy was she wrong.

The Magical Readathon is a Harry Potter based readathon. You can watch the informative video here:

So…now we all know what we are in for right? Are you as excited as I am?

It took me a long time to narrow down my career choice but I finally chose to settle with Hogwarts Professor. That really suits me and I think it will be super fun. The amount of time and effort that was put in to make these packets is amazing.

The next step is choosing my classes and associated books… Some of these were more difficult than others to choose but I finally filled my classes! Since I chose to Hogwarts Professor, I have to take one course in the subject I would like to teach, defense of the dark arts, and five others of my choosing. Here are the classes and corresponding books I chose for this year’s O.W.L.s.

I do believe once I pass my O.W.L.s, I will make a great Professor. So, get your wands ready everyone…April will be bloody amazing.
