October Monthly Wrap-up

October Monthly Wrap-up

I am so sorry this is up late. NaNoWriMo has taken over my life…literally. In my first ten days, I managed to write 21,289 words! Most of that was done during the two hours I write at night before I head to bed. I am so happy to be doing this and really getting a start on my first ever novel.

October was also filled with some great news for Saturday Spotlight. I have two exciting authors in December, so that is something to look forward to. Last Saturday I had a guest post written by Emiko Jean (here)! She really is amazing and incredibly fun to talk with.

I am behind on writing reviews because…well…NaNoWriMo. I will get caught up with them at the end of the month and get caught up on ARCs I need to read. Next year I will actually plan this better. I really jumped into NaNo right before it began. I decided to join in October….so that was really short notice.

I did manage to read a good amount during October though, so let’s take a look at that.

Wow! I cannot believe that I managed to read a whopping 10 books this month! That is impressive for me. I do have many reviews to write but I know that will come when I have a little more time.

Books I am currently reading

I do not have much planned this month for reading. Much of my reading has to take a back seat for now while I work on writing my own novel.

The Gift of Quoxxel

I still have yet to pick this book back up again. Maybe I am really postponing the inevitable.
