Would you rather Wednesday

The week is half over already!!!! Can you believe it? I’ve been able to go in the pool the past two days and it has been so nice. My father-in-law bought a pool heater so now the water sits around 85 degrees which is soooo nice. Yesterday it was about 88 when we jumped in and it was just too warm for a pool so we had to turn it down. The best part about this heater is that it will cool the pool down or heat it up as needed to maintain the set temperature. This also makes it perfect night swimming which is my favorite. I love floating in the water at night and gazing at the moon.

I really need to get reading more, if only life would allow it. For now, I read when I can and enjoy it. During the summer, I enjoy spending time with the boys more. I should be doing more work with the bees when we get our hives from Georgia. If you want to see pictures of those let me know! I can take my phone or camera out with me to take some photos when we work the hives. Anyway…

I always loved doing the would you rather questions as a kid so I thought it would be a wonderful way to engage more of you who follow my blog but bring a bookish twist to it.

Would you rather (19):

Have your favorite author read their book to you while sitting beside you or have them dedicate their next book to you?

This is such a tough question! How amazing would it be to have any of my favorite authors sit next to me and read their book?! I might cry honestly. I would first have a panic attack because I would have to pick just one. It would be amazing but could I record it…the author I mean. Nobody would want to see me fangirling as they read to me. I could have that video of us forever and share it with the world.

On the other hand, if they dedicated their next book to me everyone who ever reads that book would see it. That would be really cool however, not everyone would know who I am per say.

That being said, I think I would go with the first choice. If I could record my favorite author and I sitting together while she read her book to me I’d be so happy. I would spread that video all over social media. That leaves me open to criticism from those online but who cares! One of my favorite authors sat with me and read to me…they’d only be jealous. People can say all the mean things they wanted and it would never take away the happiness that moment would bring me.
