Hello to all of my fellow book lovers! How was your week? Do you have weekend plans? I am super excited because my business cards came in yesterday. They are so beautiful. If you have not seen them, check them out on my Instagram. I am super happy with how well the turned out. I ordered from Vistaprint, in case any of you needed some business cards. They also often have great deals on business cards and other business products.
Welcome back to Freebie Friday! I created this blog series to showcase one free e-book each week that I find via Amazon or Barnes & Noble. I know that books are expensive, that is why many are now turning to e-books…well that and the fact that they save space. There are pros and cons to ebooks, find a few here. Today I hope to bring you a novel that you might take a chance on. These books will be free at the time of my post, but because I am unable to see the future, I cannot promise these will stay that way. So, if you like them purchase them as soon as you can.
James Potter and the Hall of Elders’ Crossing (James Potter #1)
Author: G. Norman Lippert
Published: 2007
Publisher: G. Norman Lippert
Book Length: 391 Pages
Genre: Fantasy
Get the Book: Goodreads, Author’s Website
James Potter thinks he knows, but as he begins his own adventure at Hogwarts, he discovers just how much of a challenge it really is to live up to the legend of the great Harry Potter. As if it wasn’t enough dealing with the delegates from the American wizarding school and figuring out the mysteriously polite Slytherins, James and his new friends, Ralph and Zane, begin to uncover a secret plot that could pit the Muggle and the Magical worlds against each other in all-out war.
Now, with the help of Ted Lupin and his band of merry mischief makers (The Gremlins), James must race to stop a war that could change the world forever. His only hope is to learn the difference between being a hero and being the son of a hero.
Before I discuss how excited I am about today’s free book… I also found an alternative cover to this novel. I actually think I love both for their own reasons.
Ok, now cue inner fangirl screaming… I mean who doesn’t love Harry Potter, and to find a new book in this world for free…
Now, I have not read this yet so I have no idea how good it actually is. That being said, with over 21,800 Goodreads reviews it has a rating of 3.78. That means it has a chance! What makes this even better is that it is not a standalone novel but a series.
Now, I hope you check out the website for the series and fall in love, or at least enjoy being thrown back into this magical realm. I know I am beyond excited about it. So what are you waiting for? Go download the book already!!
