Enchanted Journeys by Sarah Robinson

I want to say I have almost reached 1k followers on my TikTok account!! Soon, I will be doing video reviews there as well—if I can get over my nerves. I love the book community there, and I wish the blog community was as active as TikTok.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day!! I had a great day. We had family over, and my kids got me books, and my husband gave me some money for books. I am so grateful that I have such an amazing husband, and my kids are so loving as well. To all the mommas, you deserve the world.

But let’s get on with this amazing book. I was so excited for this, it screams self care! Especially for mommas!

Enchanted Journeys is a practical, accessible and enchanting tool for healing, transformation, and empowerment, based on Sarah’s many years of experience as a yoga teacher and international retreat creator, and background in neuroscience. Her meditations invite you to explore the powerful realm of visualisation, guiding you to access your intuition and imagination to harness gratitude, compassion, and strength. The collection is divided into four As well as a brief exploration of numerous approaches to meditation mantra, chakras, mindfulness, journaling, and affirmations.

I first have to say that I am even more grateful for this book. I reached out to the publisher, and though they typically do not work with people with low follow counts and social media numbers, such as myself, they sent me one book anyway! I am so so so thankful to them because I absolutely loved it!

The book is beautiful, but what it holds behind the cover is even more so. To start the book, the author tells us what meditation is, how to do it, and even how to prepare for it. This is so important because I am also often asked how to meditate. She does not throw us into the book; she eases us in and walks anyone new through it.

The meditations are unique, and I am so happy with them! I will be recording these to use for myself and reference when I do groups for my sound baths. There are even moments when the author tells us to pause. I agree that we should practice before recording to make it more seamless.

Overall, these are incredible meditations, and I think there is something in here for everyone. Don’t be shy about recording it yourself and listening to it. If you choose to use it publicly once you record it, please mention the author and give credit where credit is due. I will be recommending this to everyone I work with and all my Reiki clients that I ask to meditate.
