I am so happy it is Friday…well I do still have to go into work tomorrow though. I have an appointment with a client in my Holistic Healing Center. Anyway, it has been a long week and I am glad that it is coming to an end. I have started doing lives on Facebook or Instagram for our Metaphysical store, selling crystals virtually three times a week. That is exhausting alone but then I come home to three boys. The oldest is in his teenage attitude phase at the age of 12, the middle has not been listening and acting out, the baby is teething. Needless to say, it has been a chaotic week here in my home.
I did manage to finish two books though! I am not sure how I am at a total of 16 finished books this year but I am loving it! I think I will be posting more on Instagram and maybe eventually tiktok as well. Be sure to follow me on those platforms.
But enough about me, we are here for freebies! I always try to make sure these books are free at the time of my posting and are not included in Kindle Unlimited, not everyone pays for that service. I know there are a lot of books out there and I would love to find free ones for everyone. I will try to choose a variety, meaning multiple genres. If you would like a free book from a specific genre, let me know in the comments below.
Let’s get to today’s FREE book, shall we?
Author: Blake Penn, Raven Penn
Published: March 6th, 2023
Asher of Steel Rim might be a halfway-decent thief, but he’s not exactly the realm’s most popular guy. As an outcast among outcasts, some hate him for his scale-tipped, pointed ears. Others wish him dead because he’s a magi in a land where those born with etherarchy are outlawed. In the wild, desert wastelands of Drakfell, Asher finally finds the opportunity he’s been waiting for: A chance to avenge his mother’s death by taking down the legendary leader of the Mage Hunters herself. The Black Valkyrie. To get his shot, Asher joins a crew of Knights determined to steal a true dragon egg. But Asher’s journey of personal vengeance lands him right in the middle of a war that goes far beyond anything he could’ve imagined. This book is perfect for anyone who loved Eragon, Mistborn, or Avatar the Last Airbender.
Ok…this book had me at dragons, I will admit that much. This does have a typical fantasy theme “others wish him dead because he’s a magi.” Yet, I always enjoy these types of fantasy novels. This does sounds really good. The cover looks intriguing and comparable books make this sound like an enjoyable read. The reviews even sound good! This looks like the type of book I will read and then choose to buy a physical copy for my eldest son to read as well.
It’s free…FREE!! You’ve got nothing to lose. Will you be giving this book a try?
