Witchy Wednesday

Witchy Wednesday

Happy mid-week everyone! Welcome back to Witchy Wednesday, the day of the week where I openly talk about anything witchy. It has been a long time since I posted much of anything. I have been crazy busy with our metaphysical store, Mystic Dragon’s Lair. We have been doing wonderfully in our physical store and our online Facebook sales have only grown! We send out anywhere from 30 to 65 boxes a week to customers all over the world.

On top of that, I have chosen to keep my children home for the school year for virtual instruction. This was a very difficult decision to make. I will be doing that as well. Busy seems to just be my natural state of affairs. I hope that you are all doing well! I know COVID has made this a difficult time for many of us. Never the less…

How about getting to why we are all really here?

With all this time at home, many have picked up hobbies, sewing being one of them.

I love this book so much! A few years ago, my mother gifted me her sewing machine because she had no time to use it. I began teaching myself little by little and I am still not great but this book makes me want to practice more!

This is a book filled with ideas from sachets to tarot punches or altar cloths! I can not wait to use this. It gives you a detailed list of what items you will need and how to both cut the fabric as well as sew it. What a great way to put your intentions into your craft! As you sew, you can keep those intentions in mind, only making that item stronger. This is a book that will hold value simply because it will be a go-to in your library as you sew more and more witchy items!

While you are home, why not craft something that you can use! Be proud and keep practicing!

Thank you again to Llewellyn for sending me this amazing book!

What other ways do you bring your craft into everyday tasks?
