Happy Friday everyone! Have you been enjoying the cool weather? I don’t like the cold because of my arthritis in my hips, however…I love the sweater and hoodie weather. Some girls like shoes…I prefer hoodies. The leaves changing colors, hot tea, and a good book…that type of day can’t be beaten. Do you like the fall? What is your favorite part?
There are so many fun things to do in the fall as well. The boys love jumping in leaf piles that we rake up. We carve pumpkins, bake pies, etc. It is a wonderful time full of family bonding and delicious food and drinks.

Now, how about another novel? I know you are all just here for the free book…so, let’s get to the book, shall we?
The Siren’s Curse
Author: Angharad Thompson Rees
Published: September 27th, 2018
Publisher: Little Whimsey Press
A shipwreck, a siren’s curse, and a hopelessness as vast as the ocean.
“You think you know the story. You’ve heard it before, from sailors who regale the tales in ale-made stupors. Do not believe them, for if they live to tell the tale they fail to tell you one important thing—the truth.
Whether you believe me or not is none of my concern. I ask you only to listen…”
Discover the devastating truth of the siren’s curse in a haunting, chilling, and lyrical tale of woe.
A mermaid book?! Count me in. This is only 19 pages so it allows you to get a new quick read in! I know that sometimes, those are the best ones for me. I am crazy busy so when I can fit a short story in rather than one chapter, it has been a good day.
That last line though…it really pulls you in.
