Friday is here! That doesn’t always mean a break for all of us. For me, it means I have both kids home all day unless my older son goes to his dad’s that weekend. That is alright though, I won’t complain because I love my boys no matter how monster-like they can be sometimes. I am happy that it is finally warming up here because we can spend our entire day outside. I love being outside in nature. That is why I could never live in a city…I need to be near nature, able to walk the woods.

We are getting an area ready for out chickens which is exciting because they are growing bigger every day, losing their down feathers. It is crazy how fast they grow! When they are about six months old they will begin laying eggs. We have a total of 12 chickens right now but I want to buy one lavender and one blue Orpington. The only issue is they are $22 per chick! They are adorable though and I just want one of each. When we move south, we are each getting our own horse and my older son wants a snake. It looks like we will have our own little farm going.

I’m not sure I would have had the same reaction to some random person kissing me on the street…regardless of how cute he looked, even if I was single. It almost reminds me of a Christian and Anna meeting in Fifty Shades of Grey. He knew then that Anna was who he wanted…not that he loved her but you get the idea. I think the fact that Maya doesn’t want to be a mom is funny, I want to see how she handles married life.
