Are you, like many others, looking for gifts for those special people in your life. If they are book lovers, you have come to the right place. As Christmas approaches, the time for buying gifts comes to an end. Here I have compiled a list of a few gift ideas for the book lover in your life.
Books
This is the obvious go-to gift for anyone who loves books. If you are unsure of which books they have already or which they would like, get them a gift card to their favorite bookstore or an online bookstore.
Clothing Items
Want something more personal? Something that they can use more regularly? How about some clothing items?
There is one website where I always find super cute bookish shirts… Tee Trutle! Below I will be posting a few examples.
Bookmarks
My husband would rather call these quitter sticks, but whatever name you use, they often come in handy. Here are some great ones that I have found.
Augustine’s Book Corner
Here you can find some great bookmarks to help you keep your place when forced to go back to reality. She has a variety of bookmarks, some inspired by popular novels. Psst…she even has some Harry Potter ones!
Literary Galaxy
These bookmarks are too cute and the owner is always comeing out with new designs so be sure to check them out.
Jewelry
How about something more subtle to show off your love of books?
Noveletta Ave.
What I love about these are that they are very modest but show off your love for reading.
Literary Galaxy
Aside from bookmarks, you can find some cute jewelry pieces as well at this etsy shop.
Candles
Who doesn’t love the smell of a great candle while reading, curdled on the couch and cuddled under a warm blanket? I know that I do. Book bloggers also love candles for Bookstagram pictures.
It’s Enchanted Candle Co.
Book Sleeves
Anyone who knows a book lover also knows how dearly they care for their books. Book sleeves let people carry their beloved books without worrying about bent pages, corners, or other horrible things happeneing to it when they throw it in their car or backpack.

Book Box Subscriptions
These are every booklover’s dream but they might be able to afford one, so why not give them one as a gift!? I have recently ordered a few to try. For October, I tried LitJoy Crate and the Fantastical Reads boxes. I will be posting reviews of each as I compile a few more boxes to compare to.
I would love to give a comprehensive list of book boxes that are available but the list could go on forever. Instead, I suggest you just do an internet search. There are book boxes for almost every genre! I am sure that you could find one you enjoy.
If you subscribe to any book boxes, I would love to hear which ones and how you like them. Please let me know below. I might even look into a few of them.
What are your bookish gift ideas? I would love to know, please comment below. There is no shortage of bookish gift ideas, just type “bookish” into etsy and take a look for yourself. There is sure to be something for that book lover in your life.
I need those leggings! There are lots of good ideas on your list.
I’m looking forward to your book subscription box reviews. You’re right, there are so many to choose from!
Aren’t they cute?! I have tried two October boxes, one November box has come but I am waiting on another. Then two December boxes. I am trying a variety. If there is one you would like me to test out and review, please let me know!
