Freebie Friday

Freebie Friday

Welcome back to Freebie Friday. I hope your week is going well, I know mine has been alright. I received my first ever Book Outlet order but was a little disappointed. I emailed them because I bought all bargain books and five of them had damage that they should not have. Bargain books should not have cosmetic damage, only the scratch and dent copies. I hope they take care of this issue. I was not pleased by this first impression.

Other than that…things have been good. I put together some cedar planks into backgrounds for book photos and I just need to stain them now. They were not perfectly flat boards, but they will look great behind a good book. What are some props you have made or bought for your bookstagram photos? I would love to know! Until then…let’s continue, shall we?

Ebooks, aside from being cheap or free have some other advantages, find some pros and cons here. Today I hope to bring you a novel that you might take a chance on. These books will be free at the time of my post, but because I am unable to see the future, I cannot promise these will stay that way. So, if you like them purchase them as soon as you can.

A secret society. Vampires. Supernaturals. And love. It’s my world, and I have to save it, but not from the monsters. Abigail Rose’s life was as predictable as the tides rising and falling, until Wes Hunter returned to Sandpoint. Then, the impossible became possible, the predictable became unpredictable, and those monsters became more than friends. Wes would do anything to keep Abigail safe, and Abigail would leave everything behind to save everyone she loves. A suspenseful romance, blurring the lines between fantasy and reality.

Vampires and other supernaturals, monsters….what more do you need? If you enjoy a little romance in your young adult fantasy novels, you should check this one out for sure. It has about 89 reviews with an average of almost four stars, I would say that is pretty good. Good enough for me to want to give it a try anyway.

Well, everyone, I hope that you have enjoyed this week’s Freebie Friday post. Please let me know what you think below. Do you think it is something you would read? Let me know in the comments below! What genre of books would you like to see in future Freebie Friday posts?

I’m so sorry that your first experience with Book Outlet went poorly! I tried my first order late last year and nothing was damaged. I hope that yours was truly a one off and that customer service comes through.

They emailed me back saying some damage to all their books is expected because it ships so many times while changing hands. They are looking into it. I hope they do something about it

I can *survive* a book with some damage, but of course I don’t expect or wish for it when ordering something new (or that promises new-ish quality). I hope something positive comes out of this too.
